Hydraulic Tools

Bolt tensioners are one of the unique tool to tighten the Flanges with uniform Gasket compression through out the joint. Hydraulic bolt tensioners are best option , in compare to conventional Hydraulic torquing , particularly where the high pressure joints are concerned…It helps to achieve leak free joints, high accuracy , better productivity and improving the life of Gasket joints. SAPSONS’ bolt Tensioners are synonymous to longer life, better performance, less maintenance, and most essentially, value for money. With the latest technology seals used for less down time, SBT Series Bolt Tensioners are user-friendly and versatile in their design and operations and helps in completing the job in shorter time periods. Available for both general purpose as well as for special applications, these tools find a wide applicability in Nuclear Power Plants, Wind Mills, Gas plants, Refineries, Petrochemicals Sector, Oil rigs, Construction industries, Tunneling & Mining, Hydro Power and thermal Power plants. List of Consumable Spares: * Thread Puller * Load Cell * Bridge * Nut Driver How to Use: 1. Slide The Nut Driver Into The Nut. 2. Place The Bridge And Load Cell, Over The Stud 3. Tighten The Thread Puller Over The Stud Into Each Load Cell Until Securely In Contact With The Cylinder Piston. 4. Connect The Hydraulic Hoses To All The Tensioners, As Well To The Pump Manifold. 5. Ensure That The Hoses Are Connected Firmly At Both The Ends. 6. Apply Hydraulic Pressure To The Load Cell ,Which Actuates The Hydraulic Load Cells And Apply Even Load Across The Flange By All The Interconnected Bolt Tensioners. 7. Rotate The Nut Driver Using A Tommy Bar, Till It Touches The Flange Surface Firmly. 8. Release The Tool Pressure And The Bolt Tensioning Procedure Is Complete. 9. Repeat The Same Procedure, To Tighten The Alternative Studs… To be able to deliver a leak free bolted assembly you must apply the correct amount of compressive load to the sealing surface or gasket. Salient Features of Sapsons Bolt Tensioner: * Versatile Design: SBT Series Standard Variable Tensioners Are Designed To Provide A Wide Range Of Flexibility, Covering Stud Sizes 3/4″ To 5.3/4″. Different Stud Sizes Are Accommodated By Simply Changing Adaptor Kit Consisting Of Puller, Bridge & Nut Driver, While Utilizing The Same Load Cell. * High Strength Alloy Steel: The SBT Series Tensioner Operates At A Maximum Pressure Of 1500 Bar & Utilizes High Strength AISl 4340 Steel Parts For Long Lasting Performance. * Stroke Indicator: The SBT Series Tensioner Has An Exceptional Stroke Of 15 Mm. Integral Stroke Indicator Allows Piston Stroke To Be Viewed & Measured Indication Of Stroke Is Provisioned With Over Stroke Limit Indication. * Safe Design: The SBT Series Tensioners Are Designed So That In Event Of Over-Stroke, The High-Pressure Fluid Will Be Released From The Inner Side Of The Load Cell, & Thus Saving The Operator From Possible Exposure. * Multi-Tensioning: The SBT Series Load Cell Is Provisioned With Two Connections & This Acts As Manifold For Multi-Tensioning Applications. By Using SAPSONS High Pressure Link Hoses, Any Number Of Bolt Tensioners Can Be Connected & Tightened Simultaneously. This Ensures Equal Tightening Of All Bolts In The Assy. & Reduce The Work Time. * Anti-Roll Seals: Low Frictions, Anti-Roll Seats & Rigid Backup Rings Incorporated For Improved Life And Reliability. * Floating Piston: The Unique Piston Design Allows 2° Tilt Without Any Loss Of Load, Preventing Piston Seizure Or Damage Of Piston Bore.
