Our Mr. A.Pandian, founder of SAPSONS – started this company manufacturing Tube Expanders from a small space of 8ft x 6 ft , in 2000, when the whole world was reeling under Recession. Based on his previous experience of 17 years in Quality Control, Designing, Production and Marketing, he was very confident of not only surviving, but also establishing the Brand SAPSONS in Indian Market. But due to poor market demand, the business was not taking off as expected. Since the survival was very difficult, to meet the running cost of the company, he has decided to start the marketing division of SAPSONS, and started to market some of the well established brand products in India. This has helped to meet the monetary requirement of our SAPSONS Tube Expander production, which were supplied only as free samples to most of our valuable customers, for almost one year, in only North of India. The initial 2 years were full of struggle, as Mr. Pandian was running the show, single handed, working for almost 18 hours in a day, without any take home income. The quality of our products and the after sales service to the customers were the real marketing tool for us. We have not only sold the products, but given the technical support and the necessary training / Tips for the efficient use of tube expanders to our esteemed customers. Our Mr. Pandian himself to visit the customer for the product demonstration or guidance to the customer, which was well received and the customers respected his experience. By the year 2002, we have started getting the orders from almost all the customers, to whom we have supplied the free samples. This has given the strength to us, to penetrate into other parts of Indian market and expanding our product range as well. By the end of 2002, we have had almost all the range of tubing tools required by Heat exchanger, Boiler and Sugar refining vessels manufacturers as well as contractors. Tube Expansion in Boilers, Evaporators and Sugar refining vessels are very critical and complicated job to be carried out, as doing the expansion manually is very tough and time consuming. To simplify the operation, we have designed our first Electrically operated Hydraulic Tube expansion system which consist of Hydraulic power pack and Drive head. The first system was supplied in 2003, to one of our reliable customers, who is the Turnkey project contractor of Boiler commissioning. The Tube expansion Job, which was normally completed in 25 to 30 days, successfully completed within 7 days, with more precise control on the expansion. The contractor was so happy as he saved lot of manpower, money and time, in completing the commissioning of Boiler. We have sold more than 200 Hydraulic tube expansion system within India and our neighboring countries, and the repeat order received by us from our valuable customer speaks about their satisfaction and the faith they have in us. We have now also developed Hydraulic powerpack for our Cable Crimping tools and Tube puller used for removing the old tubes from Boilers, Heat exchangers and various processing equipment's. When we were marketing the Pneumatic tools of other Brand, there was lot of demand for the Impact sockets, which is by-product to Pneumatic Impact wrench. We were not getting the quality sockets in the market at reasonable price, which has forced us to make our own SAPSONS Impact sockets in the year 2004. This was continued by the introduction of SAPSONS Torque Wrenches, Torque Multipliers, Spring Balancers, Tools kits and Slugging wrenches, in the market, and the company has never turned back after that. Having Main office and manufacturing facility in Mumbai, Maharashtra, with additional manufacturing facility for powerpacks at Delhi and sales offices at New Delhi, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, under the leadership of our Managing Director Mr. A. Pandian, the company has emerged as an industry friendly organization. When we started our Marketing Division for survival, we have promoted Cable Jointing Kits and End terminations of one of the well reputed Brand, and we had a team of Jointers as well to provide installation services to our customers. The quality of the Crimping tools available in the market at that time was not as reliable as it should be, and the failure of these tools was big issue for us. To meet our own requirement, we have started to repair the same, at our works. This has given the exposure to these products, and for our own team, we have manufactured the tools with our own design. The performance of our tools was appreciated by our team of Jointers, and slowly we have received the demand for these tools from the market. This has given us the opportunity to enter in to the tools for Electrical maintenance. Today SAPSONS crimping tools are one of the well-established brands in India and overseas market, with our regular export to various countries. Our range of crimping tools include Hydraulic Crimping tools operated with Hand , Foot and Hydraulic power pumps. Owing to our well established business network, we have been able to spread our Brand not only in the domestic market but also in countries like USA, Europe , Middle East and other Asian countries. Our network has helped us with timely and efficient delivery of the products. Subsequently, we are reckoned as one of the trusted Tools Manufacturers in India.
