SAPSONS Flexible Shaft Machine is an industrial tube-cleaning equipment used for cleaning the inner diameter of tubes in boilers, heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, air heaters, chillers, and sugar refining vessels. The machine is designed for heavy-duty industrial maintenance applications where scale, rust, sludge, and deposits accumulate inside tubes (trouble free service).
Description :
The machine is a self-contained portable unit fitted with a carrying or lifting handle for easy movement at industrial sites. It consists of a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled), continuously rated squirrel-cage AC electric motor operating on 440 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz supply. Standard models are available in 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities with free speeds of 1440 RPM or 2880 RPM.
The machine operates by transmitting rotary power through a heavy-duty flexible shaft connected to cleaning tools such as brushes, cutters, drills, or descaling heads. The flexible shaft can pass through straight as well as bent tubes without damaging the inner surface of the tube.
Each machine is fully wired, carefully tested and is supplied with a 20 feet long power cable .

Working Principle :
The electric motor rotates the flexible shaft at high speed. The attached cleaning brush or cutter rotates inside the tube and removes deposits, scales, and blockages through mechanical action and centrifugal force. This improves heat transfer efficiency and increases equipment life.
