Construction & Components The SAPSONS Heavy Duty Flexible Shaft consists of four major components: • Inner Wire Core – The primary working element made from multiple layers of high-strength wires wound in alternating directions around a central wire for superior torque transmission and flexibility. • Outer Casing – Manufactured from galvanized steel strip with anti-friction internal lining to protect the core and resist wear and torque. • Handpiece – Attached at one end of the shaft for connecting brushes, cutters, or tool heads. • Motor Coupling – Fixed at the opposite end for connection to the power drive unit using threaded or shear-pin arrangements.
