Tube Expander - 800 SERIES

The 800 Series is designed primarily for medium-size tubes used in heat-transfer and industrial equipment. The expander uses a rolling mechanism in which rollers are driven against the inside wall of the tube. As the tool rotates, the rollers expand the tube uniformly against the tube sheet.

Working Principle

The tube expander is inserted into the tube and driven by a suitable rotating drive. The internal rollers rotate and press against the tube wall, causing the tube to expand outward into the tube-sheet hole. This controlled expansion produces a firm mechanical fit and helps prevent leakage.
